Unlike common fabric or neoprene mats, this design features a durable, high-quality print made with non-toxic inks on a finely textured, water-resistant vegan leather surface. The soft cream suede backing gives the mat a refined finish, while its approximately 2 mm construction keeps it flexible and easy to roll for storage. The smooth upper surface allows comfortable tile movement and makes everyday spills easy to wipe away.

CARE

Wipe the upper surface gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not machine wash, soak, bleach, scrub with abrasive materials, or use harsh cleaning products.

Allow the mat to dry completely before rolling. Roll it with the printed surface facing inward and the cream suede backing facing outward. Store it inside the storage bag, if selected in a dry place away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.

I usually buy neoprene mats, so this was a little bit of a departure for me. However, I really liked it, and it’s just exactly what I wanted. So happy I found it! Also, so nice to receive a mat that shipped rolled up instead of folded, so I didn’t have to work miracles to get the creases out.

However- the arrival of the Black Mother of Pearl Mat made me forget about the delay. This Mahj Mat is exquisitely designed and elevates the game table. It might be the prettiest mat I own! It’s also adds an unexpected functionality to the game— as pushers and tiles glide across the table!
